• What do Volunteers Do?

    MPPC Volunteers assist with a variety of tasks, based on their initiative and interest. Examples include, but aren't limited to:

    • Greet visitors during open hours
    • Work the desk to keep the center open
    • Attend team meetings to provide ideas for programming and events
    • Provide support for our existing events
    • Host a recurring event
    • Assist fundraising and grant writing
    • Represent the center by tabling at various events
    • Collaborate with community organizations
    • Be the change you want to see in the world
    • Exist in community with your fellow volunteers
